Hassan Ariff will remain alive among people for his works: AG

DHAKA, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) - Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman today said late adviser of the interim government and former Attorney General Hassan Ariff will remain alive in the memories of the people of Bangladesh for his works and services.

Asaduzzaman said this in a memorial meeting organized by the Officers and Employees Association of the Attorney General (AG) Office here today.

Additional attorney generals, deputy and assistant attorney generals, solicitors, deputy solicitors and officials and employees of the attorney general’s office attended the memorial meeting held at AG office rooftop.
 
Hassan Ariff’s son Moyaz Ariff was also present.
   
Paying tribute to Hassan Ariff, Asaduzzaman said his death came as a grave shock on him, giving him a feeling of losing someone dearest and closest.

After the meeting, doa was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.
    
Hassan Ariff passed away on December 20 last due to a severe cardiac arrest.
