DHAKA, Jan 03, 2025 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Army in a special operation in Rangamati’s Bandukbhanga Range found two training camps of United People's Democratic Front-UPDF (Main) on the hills in Paglichhari and Zamchuk areas today.

The UPDF men fled the scene, abandoning the camps, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.

In Paglichhari, the camp spanned a large area with observation posts, training grounds, residences, and roads while another camp was discovered in Zamchuk with bunkers designed to protect against security forces' operations.

The ISPR release said such operations will continue to prevent terrorist activities by regional groups to maintain law and order in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
