DHAKA, Jan 05, 2025 (BSS) – Police today arrested two active members of a professional robbery gang in the city’s Mirpur area.

The arrested have been identified as Md. Shuvo alias Solaiman, 29, and Md. Rubel ,32, .

Being tipped off, police arrested the duo from Mirpur-11 Bus Stand Area at 12:30 am last night, police said.

Police sources said that the arrestees are active members of a professional robbery gang and there are multiple cases against the arrested Md. Shuvo alias Solaiman and Md. Rubel with various police stations of theft, robbery, banditry, and drugs.

Further legal action against the arrested persons is under process.
