Go to spot soon after receiving GD or complaint: Sazzat Ali

DHAKA, Jan 6, 2025 (BSS)- Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali today asked the police personnel to visit the place of occurrence for investigation after receiving a general diary (GD) or complaint.

"Go to the spot as soon as possible and conduct a preliminary investigation after receiving a complaint or GD in the DMP police stations," he said.

He said this at the concluding session of the training of police officers on "GD Investigation" organized by the Planning, Research and Human Resource Development Division of the DMP.

Later, he distributed certificates among the trainees.

A total of 200 police members in four phases took the training. 

Senior officials of DMP were present.
