Render service voluntarily, otherwise face music: Senior Secretary

DHAKA, Jan 7, 2025 (BSS) – Issuing a strong note of warning senior secretary of the  land ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed today said land related responsible persons must ensure rendering utmost  services, otherwise they will have to face music.

“Dependency on land assistants for receiving digital service will be avoided. All service providers will be brought under training aimed at ensuring   land services,” he said.

Addressing a meeting of Automation Project to improve land management and land-related services and reach all coordinated services to doorsteps, the secretary said the ministry is committed to taking necessary steps to ensure proper services, adding, “Ensure transparency, honesty and integrity regarding services to the people. There should be carefulness in land services.”

He said automation project is being taken up to improve land management services. 

Additional secretaries and senior officials of the ministry were present in the meeting. Field officials from various departments also joined online and ventilated their opinions.
