2 motorbike riders killed in Narayanganj road accident

NARAYANGANJ, Jan 13, 2025 (BSS)- Two motorbike riders were killed and another was injured in a road accident on Adamji-Shimrail road in Siddhirganj of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Shuvo, 22, son of Abdus Sattar of Maniraj village of Bhola district and Emon, 21, son of Parvez of Bakagora village under Jhinaigazi upazila of Sherpur district.

Police said the accident took place when the motorbike rider lost control and collided head-on with a truck, leaving two bike riders dead on the spot and injured another.

Police arrested truck driver Anwar Hossain, 53, and seized the truck.

The bodies were sent to Narayangonj General Hospital for autopsy.
