DMP to probe within one hour of filing GD

DHAKA, Jan 13, 2025 (BSS)- Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzatat Ali has said primary investigation must be conducted within an hour of filing a general diary (GD) at the police station.

There should be no delay in the GD investigation, he said while addressing the concluding ceremony of a training programme on GD Investigation today.

Planning, Research and Human Resource Development Division of DMP organised the training here.

The DMP commissioner asked the police personnel to maintain professionalism in the service to earn the trust of the people.

He later distributed certificates among the trainees. Two hundred police members in four phases received the training.

Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) SN Md. Nazrul Islam and senior police officials were present.
