DHAKA, Jan 14, 2025 (BSS) – The government has promoted 59 Administrative Officers (AOs) and Personal Officers (POs) to the post of assistant secretaries (non-cadre). 

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification today signed by Deputy Secretary Taslima Ali, following the recommendations of the Public Service Commission (PSC).

According to the notification, the officers were promoted to the post of Assistant Secretary (non-cadre) and appointed as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) under the Public Administration Ministry.

They will be posted later as per the rules. The notification stated that they will receive salaries and allowances in the ninth grade as per the 'National Pay Scale, 2015'.
