Female journalists must work on issues significant for nation: Faruk Wasif

DHAKA, Jan 14, 2025 (BSS) - Director General of the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Faruk Wasif today urged female journalists to sincerely work on various issues, which are significant for the country and its people.
 
"The female news persons must work for the development of the country and its people," he told the concluding session of the three-day training on multimedia journalism at the seminar hall of the PIB here.
 
He said the women need training on various issues, which are noteworthy for the nation apart from gender-based training.

A total of 35 women journalists participated in the program and received certificates.

During the training, women have been imparted training on various aspects of journalism, including how to write headlines, introductions, and features apart from digital journalism.

Director of Studies and Training (additional charge) Parvin Sultana Rabbi, among others, was present.
