4 snatchers held for cutting off man’s wrist at Adabar

DHAKA, Feb 01, 2024 (BSS)- Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested four snatchers from different areas of the city for their alleged involvement in cutting off the wrist of  a man reportedly after robbing his mobile phone in Adabar area.

The arrestees were identified as Md Alamgir, 26, Shahjahan, 33, Tariqul Islam, 19, and Md Rahat Hossain, 18.

On a tip-off, a team of DB police raided different areas of the city and arrested them last night.

On January 30, muggers chopped off the left hand of Sumon Sheikh, 26, a resident of Darussalam Ansar Camp area, and snatched away his mobile phone.
