RANGPUR, Feb 12, 2025 (BSS) - A   student was killed in a collision between a picnic bus and a battery-run three-wheeler on the spot in the Rangapukur area of Shalti-Gopalpur union in Mithapukur upazila of the district today.
 
The deceased was identified as Abdullah Bin Ruhan, 12. He is the son of Akhterul Islam of Shaltipara Samil village in the same union, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mithapukur police station Md Rafiqul Islam told BSS.
 
Two persons, including the mother of the dead student and the three-wheeler driver were seriously injured. They have been admitted to Mithapukur Upazila Health Complex.
 
A case was filed in this connection with Mithapukur police station.
