DHAKA, Feb 24, 2025 (BSS) - A massive fire that broke out at various resorts in the Sajek 
Valley, one of the most popular tourist spot, in Khagrachhari district this afternoon, was broughtunder control.

The fire originated around 1:05pm and was brought under control around 4:33pm today, 
according to the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Upon receiving information, several fire fighting engines rushed to the place of occurance around 2:40pm and brought the fire under control after nearly two hours of frantic efforts, it said.

The Fire Service said it took time to reach the spot due to the remote area and there was also water shortage at the site.
