DMP files 1,582 cases for traffic rules violation

DHAKA, Mar 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed a total of 1582 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules. 

DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases on March 17 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers, said a press release here today.

The DMP release said that 199 motor vehicles were dumped and 54 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign against traffic rules violation.

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.

The DMP traffic division has been working to bring traffic system under smooth in the capital for giving city dwellers easy movement.
