DHAKA, March 20, 2025 (BSS) – Police yesterday arrested a professional drug trader 
named Milon Hossain with a motorbike and recovered 1400 pieces of yaba tablets from 
city’s Fulbaria star bakery area.  

According to police, a team of Bangshal police station set up check posts in front of the 
Star Bakery area at about 7:30am on Wednesday and arrested Milon with a motorbike. 
The team also recovered 1400 yaba tablets from his possession.

During primary interrogation, Milon Hossain said he was involved in drug trading for 
long. He usually collects yaba tablets from Ibrahim and Sohel of Mohakhali area. Milon 
was carrying the yaba tablets for selling those in Madaripur upazila, police said.

A case was filed against Milon Hossain with Bangshal police station under Narcotics 
Control Act.

Later he was produced before the court.
