Traffic rule violations: 2,797 cases filed

DHAKA, April 19, 2025 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan
Police (DMP) has filed 2,797 cases during operations in the capital regarding
traffic rule violations.

A media release of the DMP today said that they conducted the drives on
Thursday and Friday.
 
In addition, 298 vehicles were seized and impounded while 188 others were
towed due to poor driving practices, it added.
