1,539 cases filed against vehicles for traffic rules violation

DHAKA, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,539 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

DMP Traffic Division filed those cases and realized fines on April 19 through a regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release.

The DMP release said that 155 motor vehicles were dumped and 79 vehicles were wrecked during the drive.
 
It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on the streets of the capital city Dhaka.
