JU holds workshop on quality improvement tools for teachers

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, April 21, 2025 (BSS) - A three-day training workshop titled "Teacher's Induction Program on Tools for Quality Improvement" began today at Jahangirnagar University (JU), aiming to enhance teaching quality and institutional efficiency.

The workshop, organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), began around 11:00am on the university campus.

JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan inaugurated the event as chief guest. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of training in developing both academic and administrative skills.

"As teachers, we must constantly improve in research and pedagogy. Understanding university rules and ethics is equally essential for both faculty and administrators. This workshop will offer valuable insights into these areas," he said.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr M Mahfuzur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Sohel Ahmed, and Treasurer Professor Dr M Abdur Rab attended the session as special guests.

The inaugural session was presided over by IQAC Director Professor Dr Md Sohel Rana and moderated by Professor Dr Mohammad Nayeem Aziz Ansari.
