RANGPUR, April 22, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day training programmme titled 'Skill Development in MS Office and Email Communication' began virtually at Academic Building-2 of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) today.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university is organising a training programmme for computer operators working in various departments and offices of the university.

Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Md. Showkat Ali addressed the training program as the chief guest.

"If you (participants in the training program) want to stay updated, you cannot be limited to what you have learned," he said, and called for acquiring proper knowledge of the use of various technologies, including computers, from the event. 

Director of the university's IQAC Professor Dr. Md. Tajul Islam presided over the event. 

Registrar of the University Dr. Md. Harun-or Rashid, Additional Directors of IQAC Dr. Md. Abdul Latif and Dr. Md. Abdur Rakib attended the training programmme as special guests. 

Deputy Registrar of the university's Center for Digital Transformation. Md. Atiqur Rahman and Programmer of the ICT Cell Md. Al Imran are conducting different sessions in the training program as resource persons.
