JCD leads Cleanliness Drive on DU campus

DHAKA, April 22, 2025 (BSS) – Leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has carried out a cleanliness drive at different points on the Dhaka University (DU) campus to promote a cleaner and healthier environment for students.  

JCD Joint General Secretary Md. Tariqul Islam Tariq led the drive conducted today.

Speaking on the occasion, Tariqul Islam said, “We took this initiative out of our responsibility toward Dhaka University”.

"Our leader Tarique Rahman has envisioned that every campus in Bangladesh would be the student-friendly, clean, and science-oriented. Today, we removed long-piled waste from Hakim and Milon Chattars to create a more pleasant space where students can gather, chat, and study in a clean environment," he added.

JCD leaders and activists from Dhaka University and outsides volunteered the drive.
