Board fixes calculator's model for HSC candidates

DHAKA, June 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Board has approved the use of eight specific models of non-programmable scientific calculators for students appearing in the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, scheduled to begin on June 26.

An official notification signed by Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board's Controller of Examinations, Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider confirmed the matter.

Candidates will be allowed to use any of the following calculator models: FX-100MS, FX-991EA, FX-570MS, FX-82MS, FX-991EX, FX-991MS, FX-991CW, and FX-991ES Plus.

Additionally, the candidates are permitted to use a normal category calculator in the upcoming examinations.

Instructions regarding the approved models have already been communicated to central secretaries and other officials involved in the examination process.
