Admission process for IU ‘D’ unit begins June 29

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Kushtia, June 21, 2025 (BSS) - The admission process for the ‘D’ unit under the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia of 2024–25 academic session will begin on June 29.

According to an admission notice, signed by unit coordinator, Professor Dr ABM Siddiqur Rahman Asrafi, the admission of students from the first merit list will be held from June 29 to July 1 during office hours at the coordinator's office on the 4th floor of the faculty building.

Candidates must complete all admission formalities including payment by July 6, the notice added.

Interviews for the second merit list, subject to seat availability, will take place on July 14 and 15.

The third merit list will be announced later through a notice on the university's official website (www.iu.ac.bd), if seats remain vacant.

Candidates must bring the original admit card of the admission test (duly signed by the invigilator), along with original and photocopies of admit cards, registration cards, mark sheets and certificates of SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations, or a testimonial from their last attended institution. Eight recent passport-size colour photographs are also required, the notice mentioned.
