DHAKA, July 20, 2025(BSS) - Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumder today said the collection rate of the land tax in the last financial year (FY25) was satisfactory and it would be increased in the next financial year.

The collection rate of the land tax witnessed an increase due to the supervision and directives of the divisional commissioners, he said while addressing as chief guest the ‘Divisional Commissioners Coordination Meeting-July 25 at the ministry’s conference room here.

He said that departments concerned of the ministry collected Taka 1,105 crore during the last financial year which is much higher than the previous year.
