ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Kushtia, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS) - Leaders and activists of the Islamic University (IU) unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir today formed a human chain on the campus demanding speedy trial of Sajid Abdullah killing case and immediate implementation of proposals presented by the student organisation.
About a hundred activists gathered in front of the university's administration building before forming the human chain.
Addressing the programme, IU unit secretary Yusub Ali alleged no visible progress has been made in Sajid's murder case even after 53 days of the incident.
He demanded immediate arrest and trial of those responsible.
Yusub Ali urged the administration to implement 110 proposals under 24 demands that they presented earlier with an aim to ensure a safe and student-friendly campus.
