SYLHET, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS)- Shahjalal University of Science and Technology Central Student Union (SUCSU) election will be held on the second week of November this year.

The election commission will be formed within two-three days.

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) vice chancellor Dr AM Sarwaruddin Chowdhury said this today.

“Student union election is being held with spontaneous participation of the students in every university. We hope that the SUCSU election will be held in the same manner,” he said.

The VC said the semester final exams will be concluded on October 15. So, we have eyed to arrange the election in the second week of November.

SUCSU has been inactive for 28 years as last election was held in 1997.
