36 fire units working to douse HISA's Cargo Village fire

DHAKA, OCT 18, 2025 (BSS) - Thirty six fire engines from different Fire 
Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) stations have been working 
to douse the blaze that erupted at the Cargo Village in Hazrat Shahjalal 
International Airport (HISA), Dhaka this afternoon.

The fire erupted in the cargo village near gate no-8 of the airport around 
2:30pm today, media officer of FSCD told BSS.

Being informed, FSCD Director General (DG) Brigadier General Muhammad Jahed 
Kamal has rushed to the fire site, he added.
