Alliance for Nationalisation movement teachers representatives meet with BNP Secretary General

DHAKA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) – Leaders of the Alliance for Nationalisation of MPO-Listed Educational Institutions today held a meeting with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office here.

During the meeting, the alliance leaders discussed with the BNP secretary general about their various demands including nationalisation of all private educational institutions and providing 20 percent house rent allowance with their basic salaries. 

In response, Mirza Fakhrul assured the teacher’s representatives that BNP, if voted to power through the next election, will consider their issue on priority basis, said BNP Media Cell Member Shayrul Kabir Khan after the meeting.

The teacher leaders expressed satisfaction with the hour-long meeting, he said.

Emerging from the meeting, Member Secretary of the Alliance Delwar Hossain Azizi said that they were reassured by the BNP Secretary General's sincerity. 

“He not only gave us an assurance but also showed interest in its implementation, which has given our movement new inspirations," he added.
