BSS Chairman visits audio-visual project, urges for timely completion

DHAKA, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS)- Chairman of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Board of Directors Anwar Aldin today visited the news agency’s audio-visual project, reviewing its implementation progress and emphasizing the need for its prompt and timely completion.
 
Anwar Aldin, also Joint Editor of the Daily Ittefaq, expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far and called for maintaining quality while expediting the remaining work to ensure timely commissioning of the audio-visual section of the national news agency.

Upon his arrival at BSS office, the Chairman was received by the news agency’s Managing Director and Chief Editor Mahbub Morshed. Managing Editor Mohammad Fazlul Haque was also present. 

During the visit, the BSS Chief Editor took him on a tour in the audio-visual studio, newsroom and several other sections of BSS and briefed him on the progress and key features of the ongoing project.

After the visit the BSS chairman held a meeting to discuss in details the progress of the audio-visual project as well as other ongoing initiatives undertaken for overall modernization and digital transformation of BSS. 

Anwar Aldin appreciated the concerted efforts of all concerned and expressed hope that the audio-visual project, once operational, would enhance the agency’s multimedia capacity and strengthen its role as the country’s national news organization.
