NCC hosts discussion with legal experts on July charter implementation

DHAKA, October 22, 2025 (BSS) - The National Consensus Commission (NCC) today again held a meeting with legal experts to discuss the methods of implementing July National Charter-2025.

The meeting was held at the NCC conference room at the National Parliament Building.

Former justice of Bangladesh Supreme Court's (SC) appellate division M A Matin, Barrister Imran Siddique, Former Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury, Dhaka University Law faculty dean Prof. Muhammad Ekramul Haque and SC senior advocate Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan attended the meeting virtually.

NCC vice-president Prof. Ali Riaz, members Dr.Badiul Alam Majumder, Justice Md Emdadul Hauqe, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Safar Raz Hossen, Dr. Mohammad Ayub Mia joined the meeting from NCC part, a PID handout said.

Chief Adviser's special assistant Monir Haider was also present at the meeting. 

The meeting elaborately discussed several recommendations to implement the July Charter-2025.
