Govt. sacks four probationer ASPs

DHAKA, Oct 23, 2025 (BSS) – The government has terminated four assistant police superintendents (ASPs) who were exhausting their probation period after appointment in Bangladesh Civil Service (Police) cadre, an official notification said.
   
According to the home ministry gazette notification issued on October 22 the officers are: Sher Shah, Shovon Kumar Biswas, Md Rowshan Jamil and Ashfaq Ferdous.
   
The notification said their termination orders were issued with approval of appropriate authority under Section 6(2)(A) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Recruitment Rules 1981.
