DHAKA, Oct 23, 2025 (BSS) – The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has instructed all personnel working in educational institutions to strictly comply with the Cyber Security Ordinance, 2025.

The directive was issued through an official order signed by Khalid Hossain, Assistant Director of the DSHE, on Wednesday.

According to the circular, all officials, teachers, employees, and students under the DSHE must adhere to both the “Guidelines on the Use of Social Media in Government Institutions, 2019 (Revised Version)” and the Cyber Security Ordinance, 2025.

The order stated that any violation of these regulations would be considered a breach of the code of conduct and, in some cases, could pose a threat to national security and constitute a punishable offense.
It is expected that maintaining these directives would ensure cyber security, prevent cybercrimes and uphold discipline within educational institutions.
