Consensus Commission enters into discussions with NCP

DHAKA, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) – The National Consensus Commission (NCC) started discussion meeting with the National Citizen Party (NCP) this morning.

The meeting began at 11:30 am in the LD Hall of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban Building.

Led by Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain, the NCP delegation included Joint Conveners Sarwar Tushar, Javed Rasin and Khaled Saifullah, and Joint Member Secretary Zahirul Islam Musa.

With NCC Vice-Chairman Professor Dr Ali Riaz in the chair, the meeting is being conducted by Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant and journalist Monir Haider.

NCC members Dr Iftekharruzzaman, Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, and Dr Md. Ayub Mia were present.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the implementation process of the July Charter, its legal basis, and several other important issues.
