DHAKA, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) – The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has sent Dr. Md. Moinul Islam, Additional Chief Engineer (Civil) of the Mymensingh zone, on retirement.

The ministry, in a press release today, stated that Islam was sent on retirement in the public interest. It noted that under Section 45 of the Government Service Act 2018, the government has the authority to send an official on retirement after 25 years of service.

The release added that the retired additional chief engineer will receive all applicable retirement benefits. The order, issued in the public interest, take will come into effect immediately.
