Young generation is country's greatest strength: BSS chairman

DHAKA, Nov 2, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Board of Directors Chairman Anwar Aldin today said young generation is the greatest strength of the country as their creativity, enthusiasm, and innovative thinking will shape a just, prosperous, and technology-driven nation.

"The youth must not only dream but also act to realize those dreams," he told a discussion titled "The Bangladesh We Want in the Vision of Youth" at Royal Resort in Sonargaon in Narayanganj, said a press release.

Renaissance International Foundation, a social development and humanitarian organization, organized the event with its Chairman Md. Ataur Rahman in the chair.

Social Welfare Secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Kamaruzzaman Ratan joined it as the main discussant while Alamgir Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Narayanganj, and Ataur Rahman, Joint General Secretary of Sonargaon Upazila BNP, were present as special guests.

Mizanur Rahman, Publisher of Poribesh Kontho, and Faisal Ahmed, President of Sonargaon Jankalyan Jubo Songstha, conducted the discussion.

Md Ataur Rahman said an enlightened Bangladesh can emerge through the thought and responsibility of its young generation.

Participating youths vowed to contribute to national progress from their respective positions with patriotism, unity, and responsibility.

The event concluded with a colorful cultural ceremony and open youth dialogue.
