DHAKA, Nov 5, 2025 (BSS) - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on all forms of public gatherings in key areas of the capital including Bangladesh Secretariat and Jamuna, the official residence of the Chief Adviser from tomorrow, citing concerns over public order and security of the Chief Adviser.

All kinds of meetings, assemblies, processions, human chains, sit-ins, and similar activities are strictly prohibited in and around Bangladesh Secretariat and the Chief Adviser's official residence, Jamuna.

The restricted zone includes the areas between the Hotel InterContinental Crossing, Kakrail Mosque Crossing, Officers Club Crossing, and Mintu Road Crossing.
