DHAKA, Nov 13, 2025 (BSS)- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam today said that  elected parliament will resolve the country's impending issues.

Regarding the democratic process of the country, he said, “Since the time of Pakistan, democracy has been frustrated and destroyed. This time, the July warriors have provided an opportunity to institutionalize the democracy.”

Regarding the Proportional Representation (PR) system in the upcoming elections, Fakhrul said, “PR system is something the people of the country don’t yet understand.

BNP Secretary General said the BNP still wants anti-fascist political parties to form a national government, and in this regard election is the only way.
