Adilur launches new software for govt building maintenance

DHAKA, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) - Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan today officially inaugurated PWD-CMS (Complaint Management System) software, developed to digitally receive and resolve complaints related to the repair and maintenance of government buildings, at a ceremony held in the capital.

Housing and Public Works Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam, Public Works Department (PWD) Chief Engineer Md Khalequezzaman Choudhury, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) Chairman Engineer   Md. Reazul Islam and National Housing Authority Chairman Ferdousi Begum attended the launching ceremony, said a press release.

Through the newly launched PWD-CMS, users of government buildings will be able to easily submit complaints online, register issues, upload necessary attachments, and monitor the progress of repair work in real time, said the release. 

This digital platform is expected to make the complaint resolution process faster, more transparent, and more accountable, it said.

Speaking on the occasion, Adilur Rahman said, “The introduction of PWD-CMS will enhance transparency in the operations of the Public Works Department and significantly improve the quality of maintenance services for government buildings”.

Md. Nazrul Islam described the software as a major digital advancement for the Public Works Department, which will open a new horizon in government building maintenance services across the country.
