BNP to hold nationwide prayers tomorrow for Khaleda Zia’s recovery

DHAKA, Dec 4, 2025 (BSS)- BNP will arrange prayers in mosques and religious centers of other religious faiths across the country tomorrow offering prayers for the speedy recovery of the party's Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

In a press conference at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan,  BNP Senior Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said, "We will hold doa mahfils in every mosque, and prayers in temples and other religious communities' places of worship.

The prayers will be offered seeking the mercy of the almighty for quick recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia from illness. Special prayers and munajat will be held in every mosque, he said

Adviser to the BNP Acting Chairman Mahdi Amin, Convener of DHAKA North BNP Aminul Haque, President of Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal M. Monaem Munna, General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan, President of Swechchhasebak Dal SM Jilani, Krisak Dal President Hasan Zafir Tuhin, Convener of Olama Dal Selim Reza and General Secretary of DHAKA district BNP, among others, were present.
