The adviser made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a view-exchange meeting with district officials and various professionals at the Rangamati District Commissioner's Office here.

In his speech, he laid special emphasis on the modernisation of the education system of the CHT.

He said under the guidance of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, e-learning activities have already started in 12 schools in three districts of the CHT.

This quality education system will be introduced in 150 more schools in remote areas very soon, Supradip said.

Referring to himself as a hilly resident, he said, "We dream of building a country where secularism, social cohesion and good relations between the people will be maintained."

Regarding the administrative situation in the CHT, the adviser said, "The interim government wants to bring a qualitative change in the country."

He added, "There is no lack of goodwill in the government to implement the rights of the hilly people. We are emphasising not only equality but also justice and fairness in every field."

Calling for maintaining peace and stability, Supradip said, "The majority of the people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts are not in favour of conflict, we are in favour of peace. This country belongs to all of us and no one can harm the country alone. Our goal is to create an environment for a peaceful election and build a prosperous Bangladesh with united efforts."
