BNP’s Reza Kibria wins Habiganj-1 with Sheaf of Paddy

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – BNP candidate Reza Kibria has clinched an unofficial victory in the Habiganj-1 constituency in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election.

He secured 1,11,999 votes, while his nearest rival, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish candidate Mawlana Sirajul Islam, received 56,132 votes.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon today.
