Pakistan planning minister arrives to join Tarique Rahman’s oath taking ceremony

DHAKA, Feb 17, 2026 (BSS) – Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary arrived here today to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Bangladesh’s newly elected government led by BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman. 
   
Chaudhary reached Dhaka at the invitation of the Government of Bangladesh to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, according to a message issued by Pakistan high commission here.
   
On his arrival, he was received at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by senior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Dhaka.
