DHAKA, Feb 17, 2026 (BSS) - President of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh 
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today congratulated Bangladesh Prime Minister 
Tarique Rahman following the Bangladesh Nationalist Party's victory in the 
13th Parliamentary Election.

President Nahyan sent a message of congratulations on the occasion of the 
Bangladesh Nationalist Party's victory in the parliamentary elections.

Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid 
Al Maktoum and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the 
Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan also sent similar 
congratulatory messages.

Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates enjoy longstanding relations, with 
cooperation spanning trade, investment, manpower and development sectors.
