PABNA, March 30, 2026 (BSS) – A delegation of the Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) today paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Pabna Circuit House here.

During the meeting, PCCI vice-presidents and directors, led by it its president Forkan Reza Biswas Badsha, were among others present.

During the meeting, the Head of the State was apprised of the overall activities of the organization, including the initiative to create employment for five thousand people in Pabna district, said a Bangabhaban release here this afternoon.

The President expressed satisfaction over the activities of the organization and called for utilizing the resources and potential of Pabna.

Secretaries concerned to the Bangabhaban and other civil and military officers were present there.

Earlier, a delegation of journalists led by Abdul Mannan Tipu, President of Ishwardi Press Club of Pabna, also paid a courtesy call on President Shahabuddin in the morning.

President Shahabuddin also inspected the progress of the construction work of Shahi Jame Mosque in Char Vabanipur in Pabna (Sadar) here.
