RAJSHAHI, May 30, 2026 (BSS) - A delegation of World Archery Asia (WAA), led by its President Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol, visited Rajshahi University (RU) this afternoon. 

During the visit, they paid a courtesy call on Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Faridul Islam and exchanged views.
 
During the discussion, the Vice-Chancellor and the WAA delegation talked about including archery in RU's annual competition and the training required for it.

The WAA President assured that WAA would provide necessary cooperation for the development of archery at RU.
 
Later, the Vice-Chancellor presented a commemorative crest to the WAA President.
