Chinese Ambassador calls on PM’s Defense Adviser

DHAKA, April 28, 2026 (BSS) - A delegation led by Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defense Adviser, Brigadier General (Rtd.) Dr. A.K.M. Shamsul Islam.

The meeting was held at the office of the Defense Adviser at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged greetings and discussed issues related to technological and military cooperation between Bangladesh and China.

They also expressed optimism about further strengthening the existing military relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.
