
RAJSHAHI, June 27, 2026 (BSS) - Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon has directed the installation of CCTV cameras in every examination hall to ensure that the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations are conducted in a fair manner and cheating-free environment.
He gave this directive after joining virtually at an exchange meeting with the secretaries of exam centers under the Rajshahi Education Board on Saturday.
The meeting was held at the auditorium of the Rajshahi Prison Training Center.
During the meeting, the Education Minister gave various guidelines to the center secretaries for holding the Higher Secondary examinations, set to begin on July 2, smoothly.
He said, "CCTV cameras must be installed in every exam hall to ensure transparency and discipline in the examinations. At the same time, all concerned must exercise the highest level of vigilance to maintain a cheating-free environment."
Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam and Rajshahi Education Board Chairman Professor Dr. Shamim Ara Chowdhury were present at the meeting. Secretaries from various exam centers also attended the meeting.
Dr. Milon stressed the need for a fair, disciplined and well-coordinated examination process.
He urged center in-charges to maintain close communication with the education board, local administration, law enforcement and respective colleges.
He also called upon public representatives, teachers, and guardians to cooperate in this regard.
At the meeting, Rajshahi Education Board Chairman Professor Dr. Shamim Ara Chowdhury informed that this year, exams will be held at a total of 208 centers across eight districts under the Rajshahi Education Board.
A total of 140,830 students will participate in the examinations under the board. She expressed hope that with the cooperation of all concerned, it will be possible to hold the examinations in a fair and peaceful environment.
Rajshahi Education Board Chairman Professor Dr. Shamim Ara warned that any center official found involved in irregularities or illegal activities would face immediate legal action.
She concluded the meeting by wishing the examinees success and thanking teachers and guardians for their dedication to prepare the students.
