DHAKA, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS)- Nepalese Ambassador in Dhaka Ghanashyam Bhandari today said the United Nations crucial role in strengthening multilateralism is very important for the countries like Nepal and Bangladesh to navigate their common challenges.

The Nepalese envoy was addressing a seminar titled “Building Our Future Together: Hopes and Lessons” at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in the city marking the Global Day 2025 celebrations, a Nepal embassy press release said.

Bhandari highlighted the challenges currently the UN system is confronting. Both Nepal and Bangladesh have long been contributing to strengthening the UN system through peacekeeping, sustainable development initiatives and advocacy for inclusive multilateralism, he said.
