NCP Dhaka North holds ‘Victory Rickshaw Rally’ welcoming victory month

DHAKA, Dec 06, 2025 (BSS) – The National Citizen Party (NCP) Dhaka North unit organised a colorful ‘Victory Rickshaw Rally’ on Friday to welcome the month of victory and to spread the message of unity against fascism.

The rally, arranged under the initiative of the NCP Dhaka-13 constituency, began at 3:00 pm from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Adarsha School and paraded through key areas of the constituency, including Adabar, Mohammadpur, Basila, Lalmatia and Rayerbazar.

NCP Joint Member Secretary Akram Hossain led the event, which featured around a hundred festoon-decorated rickshaws carrying a large number of party leaders and activists. 

NCP Dhaka North Convener Ariful Islam Adeeb, Member Secretary Sardar Amirul Islam and other central and local leaders were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Akram Hossain, the NCP candidate for Dhaka-13 constituency, said December—the month of victory—remains a profound source of inspiration for the nation.

“Today’s Victory Rickshaw Rally is not only a celebration of our glorious victory but also a symbol of unity and joy. At this moment, it is essential for all anti-fascist forces to come together. This event reflects that spirit of unity, where people from various walks of life pledge to fulfill their social and civic responsibilities,” he said.

The NCP Dhaka North unit expressed gratitude to people from all walks of live including students, who took part in the event.
