DHAKA, May 2, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 51 individuals involved in various criminal activities have been arrested in a routine operation conducted by Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The arrests were made on Friday during coordinated drives in different crime-prone areas under Tejgaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Hatirjheel, Adabor, Mohammadpur, and Tejgaon Industrial area police stations, said a DMP) press release.

Among those arrested, 3 were from Tejgaon Police Station, 12 from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, 7 from Hatirjheel, 12 from Adabor, 12 from Mohammadpur, and 5 from Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station.

Police said all the arrestees have been sent to court.
