English Olympiad Gold Medalist Saeed Ibn Taqi honoured

RAJSHAHI, July 22, 2026 (BSS) – Saeed Ibn Taqi, a Spoken English student of Iqra International Academy and a gold medalist at the English Olympiad, was honoured.

The honour was conferred on Tuesday evening at the institution's campus at Darikharbona Mor in the city's Uposhohor area.

The English Olympiad was held in London from June 21 to 27, where 11 contestants from Bangladesh participated. Of them, nine won gold medals and two secured silver medals.

Speaking on the occasion, Taqi said consistent practice is essential to excel in English. He advised learners to remain committed for several months and complete the courses at least three to four times.
