DHAKA, Aug 5, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested 30 people allegedly involved in various criminal activities during separate special drives conducted by three police stations under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The arrests were made during special operations carried out on Tuesday in crime-prone areas under Jatrabari, Mugda and Turag police stations, said a DMP press release today.

Jatrabari Police arrested 12 suspects, while Mugda Police and Turag Police arrested nine suspects each.

Police said the detainees include wanted suspects in pending cases as well as individuals allegedly involved in various criminal offences.
